Super stylish and sleekly designed original mid-century Italian desk in a stunning quarter sawn oak with floating glass top and contrasting inset white formica faced drawers. Dating from the 1950’s this piece we sourced from a private collection in the beautiful city of Naples. Reminiscent of the designs of iconic Italian designers Gio Ponti or Ico Parisi  two large tapering legs and a cuboid form support the solid oak top on which the original glass floats on four turned columns. This desk just oozes all that is great about mid century Italian design and it is certain to make a powerful impact and design statement in any home or office space. We have had the desk professionally and sympathetically restored maintaining all the original patina on the brass detailing  along with adding a new layer of protective lacquer.
