Created for Archie Shine in the 1960’s by Robert Heritage this magnificent sideboard is presented in outstanding vintage condition.  It is easy to see with pieces such as this why Heritage is celebrated as the most awarded designer in the history of the British Design Council. Constructed from some of the most outstanding Rio rosewood we have ever seen the grain pattern is simply breath taking. The piece itself delivers both form and function. Behind two sliding book matched doors there is ample cabinet storage and a bank of drawers to the left of the piece offer further storage for smaller items or indeed  silverware as the top drawer is lined with a green baize interior. The drawers also feature a beautiful inset solid brass drawer pull. The top surface which is jut sensational in terms of timber offers a generous surface area to display and store. Overall this is just a real piece of quality, stylish mid century modern design.
