A truly striking vintage Murano mirror which we believe to be a one off custom made piece dating from the early 1950’s. The frame comprises of solid glass tubes featuring a highly decorative barley twist effect and they are joined by beautifully patinated ribbed brass corners. Sourced from a private collection in the beautiful Italian city of Verona this mirror is presented in totally original condition with the exact type of ageing and patina one would hope for in a piece of this vintage. The actual mirror itself has a bevelled edge making it even more attractive with this slight angle feature contrasting perfectly with the round tube frame. Due to the translucent nature of the glass this piece was particularly difficult to photograph so along with our additional photos we would recommend watching our video of this piece also.
