This stunning example of an original 1950’s Italian brass rimmed mirror is in the form of a shield and the inner brass rim has beautiful detailing. The frame itself is untouched and original and has the exact type of patina one would expect in a piece of this vintage. The mirror also is totally original and has some foxing and ageing to it . Some collectors and buyers love and appreciate this aspect of an original mirror and some don’t, it is simply down to ones personal taste, as such we have left it up to you to decide. If you wanted the frame polished we can arrange that and also if so desired replace the original mirror glass with new mirror.
