Stunning mid century Italian console table with etched glass drawer pulls and drop down storage which can easily be utilized as a dry bar if so desired. This rare and stylish piece is comprised of three different wood types, the main body of the piece is done in rosewood while the central lockable decorative drop down cabinet is in burl walnut and the carved legs and faux bamboo are carved in maple. This amazing piece of furniture was sourced from a private collection in Rome and was most likely a custom made piece for an important villa or pallazzo. We have had the piece professionally restored and polished and as such it is presented in excellent vintage condition.
