July 12, 2024Pair Of Armchairs By Oliver Gagnere For ‘Le Cafe Marly’ At The Louvre Museum Paris
€2,650.00
A rare opportunity to own a piece of furniture history from one of the most iconic buildings in the world, Le Cafe Marly at the Louvre museum in Paris. Designed in 1994 by the internationally acclaimed Oliver Gagnere this fantastic pair of armchairs are presented in their original upholstery with shaped armrests, wooden legs adorned with brass sabots along with brass ring pull to the back rest. This unusual feature was created for ease of moving the chairs when seating customers at the famous cafe. The chairs are offered in their original condition with some minor wear to the fabric and evidence of use to the brass embellishments and feet, this is exactly what one would hope to find in an original pair like this that were used on a daily basis. If you would like to add a touch of Parisian style and history to your home or interior design project then this set is a must have. We can also offer a change of upholstery in a fabric of your choosing at an additional cost should you so wish. Please see also our additional photos and in particular our video which I hope will give a real sense of the style, quality and condition of this stunning pair.
