€3,650.00
A striking and characterful pair of vintage Norwegian armchairs, beautifully combining warm rosewood with a crisp, architectural metal frame. These chairs have recently undergone a comprehensive restoration, with the timber professionally French polished to bring out the depth and richness of the grain, while the structure has been carefully refined to ensure they present at their very best.
The seats and backs have been newly upholstered in a high-quality Italian leather hide, selected for its soft handle and natural tone. The leather sits perfectly within the sculpted form of the chairs, with subtle vertical channel detailing adding both comfort and visual rhythm. The contrast between the warm leather, deep rosewood arms, and clean metal legs gives the pair a confident, balanced presence.
Both chairs retain their original manufacturer’s labels, confirming their Norwegian origin and adding an important layer of authenticity. Pieces of this quality and condition are increasingly difficult to source, particularly as a true pair.
At Acquired, we are genuinely delighted to present such a rare and beautifully restored pair. This is a truly unique set, with a presence and individuality that sets it apart. They have a quiet confidence about them—pieces that don’t need to shout to make an impression. Whether placed in a home setting or used within an interior design project, they bring warmth, quality, and a sense of considered design that will sit comfortably for years to come.
