A charming vintage glazed ceramic sculpture in the form of a monkey. Dating from around 1970 and originating in Germany this wonderful piece is certain to add character, charm and even a sense of fun to your home or interiors project. With wonderful patina and crackle effect the ceramic is in excellent vintage condition with just one hair line crack and what appears to be a well executed repair to one finger all of which in my opinion add to the aesthetic of the sculpture.The forlorn look on its face looks to me like he/ she has just been told off for getting up to some mischief ! Signed to the bottom of the base and stamped underneath this is a must have for anyone looking for something a little bit different either as a gift or for your own home or work space.
